The ‘I Still Believe’ singer is not currently pregnant with her billionaire boyfriend’s baby despite a report made by New Idea saying that the couple ‘are overjoyed at the prospect of being parents.’
Mariah Carey is not currently pregnant with James Packer’s baby despite a report first published by an Australian-based publication New Idea. The report claimed that the twosome were so happy after learning of her pregnancy.
The publication cited a so-called source as saying that the “I Want to Know What Love Is” singer and her boyfriend “found out the baby news recently and they’re overjoyed at the prospect of being parents.” The source added, “She adores James and it’s well-known within her social circle that she would love to have children with him.”

Despite the report, a source close to Mariah told Access Hollywood that she wasn’t even pregnant at the time the report was published. “False reporting, not true at all,” said the source. Though there is no bun in the oven, the couple has children from their previous marriage. Mariah is a mother of four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan from her previous marriage with Nick Cannon. Meanwhile, James has three children with his ex-wife Erica Baxter.
Mariah and James sparked dating rumors when the two were photographed strolling the street in Capri, Italy back in June. Most recently, the couple was spotted enjoying a holiday in Malibu. In some pictures obtained by the Australian publication, the “I Still Believe Singer” singer wore a white shirt and black trousers while walking on the sandy beach on August 12.
