Actress and social media personality, Amara Maduka, advised people stuck in toxic marriages to walk away if the union is no longer favourable to them.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “I am not sure anything scares me about marriage. If it does not work out, there is the option of walkig away. It is not supposed to be a do or die affair. If anything scares me, it is investing my time and energy into something that is not worth it, and I won’t do that to myself.”

Sharing her thoughts on having sex on a first date, Maduka said, “I would not tell anybody how to live their life but I feel that sex on a first date should not happen. One should get to know the other person more to know if you want to (have sex with the person). But, if someone chooses to have sex on the first date, it is still alright.”

The actress, who often posts sensual pictures on Instagram, also maintained that she had never cheated in a relationship. She said, “No, I am not a cheat. Why would I be with someone I would cheat on?  If I accept to be with someone (in a relationship), it is because it’s genuine. I must really love the relationship, and if I’m happy, why would I want to cheat?”

On if she can date an older man, she said, “Sure, I can. Some older men are sweethearts. Age doesn’t mean anything to me.”
