Marvel Studios have released a new clip from its long-awaited Avengers: Endgame and it reveals the most we’ve seen yet about the plot of the Avengers: Infinity War sequel.
As six of the Avengers stand around and figure out how to take the fight to Thanos, we also find out exactly what Captain Marvel was doing on her 20-year space odyssey.
The clip also suggests that Thanos has used the Infinity Stones again — for reasons we are yet to figure out — and the Avengers have somehow been able to detect it. The six remaining superheroes’ plot is to retrieve these stones and undo Thanos’ chaos in order to save the others that got dusted in Infinity war.
But in the meantime, War Machine has a prickly question for Captain Marvel about her absence; according to her, while the Avengers were busy protecting one planet, she was protecting the galaxy.
