The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has responded to the threat by the founding fathers to stop next Saturday’s planned national convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State as it insists that a million Jerry Ganas cannot stop the convention.

The party’s National Secretary, Professor Adewale Oladipo, who spoke on Friday, said nothing can stop the convention. Professor Oladipo said the delegates to the the national convention have been elected at ward congress.
“There are also statutory delegates like former governors, former chairmen, Senators, House of Representatives members, they are all there. The court injunction is not going to affect the National Convention,” he added.
