Olugbade who declares that the 7th Lagos Fashion Fair 2019 promises to give a 3 days unforgettable fashion experience, exhibition, masterclass, runway, entertainment, scheduled for 25th-27th September 2019 at the prestigious Eko Convention Center Eko Hotels & Suites, VI, Lagos. This event is organized by Atlantic Exhibitions Nigeria Limited.

He said this year’s edition,desires to open more opportunities to everyone especially young, versatile and creative fashion entrepreneurs because there are more economic opportunities in the industry beyond the show of fashion wears and designs. He said that in the last six (6) years of the Lagos Fashion Fair, it has taken its place in the role of creating dynamic, confident and distinct fashion business bridges between local partners, suppliers, accessories players, its international audience and the different players in the sector all over the world.

Olugbade gave accolades to the government in its SME drive but said special financial support needs to be done to the ever creative and evolving Fashion industry in its diverse untapped areas. He said there are more fashion entrepreneurship options in fashion service amongst others that will boost the economy, he reiterated that the dexterity and sagacity created by different fashion statements, has aided different sectors in its GDP generation drive with sectors like Entertainment, Nollywood and Tourism to mention a few. He said the exhibition has made adequate preparations in its plans this year and expects more stakeholders to attend. The Fashion Masterclass will treat varieties of topical issues that will help emerging and young designers set up and run successful, sustainable business both in Nigeria and to a global market.

The fair will feature over 40 Nigerian and foreign exhibitors, with opportunity for designers, fashion retailers, fashion professionals, boutique owners, stylists, fashion enthusiasts, models, trendsetters and consumers to interact, network and build business relationships with our Nigerian and international exhibitors including Turkey, China amongst others.He said the Lagos Fashion 2019 will feature Exhibition, Masterclass, Runway, Entertainment, Networking, Freebies, Amazing discounts, raffle draw and more.

Olugade and his team said the uniqueness of the Lagos Fashion Fair’s objective has remained to create an enabling platform where creative Nigerian designers and fashion entrepreneurs connect with international designers to showcase the beauty and creativity of both world through their designs and innovations, this year’s fashion fair will also look to celebrate Nigerian entrepreneurs who have mastered the art of fashion by using it to make bold statements and create more versatility in their designs and brands.

As part of this year’s edition, the show part of the exhibition will feature, talented and creative designers from various Nigeria and other countries ready to showcase their exquisite pieces on the runway.

Olugbade assured that this year’s edition will have partners in Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN), House of Tara, Ren Money, Ori Flame, Lo’Lavita, Lilly Women’s health amongst others.
