The General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, TLCCRM, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has called on Nigerians and leaders to seek God always, and ensure they involve him (God) in all areas of the country’s existence, especially as the nation celebrates her independence anniversary.
Muoka who gave this charge during the church’s two-day crusade tagged “God’s intervention in times like this” advised that as the country turns 58, it is not just enough to celebrate with funfair, but that Nigerians should seek the face of God, and ensure nothing is standing between them and God.
“Nigerians should look up onto God in prayer. Our nation needs prayer, the whole world needs prayer because the coming of Jesus Christ is at hand. A lot of crises, a lot of tribulation is going on all over the world that is marking the prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ. That is the reason for this program, “God’s intervention in times like this.” The coming of Jesus is at hand, the prophesy is being fulfill everywhere, not just only in Nigeria, but all over the world. So, in times like this, everybody has to draw closer to God and prepare for the rapture of the saints.
“Everybody has to pray and ensure there is nothing standing between them and God. They have to ensure they are born again, and are living right. They have to be clothed with the garment of holiness which is the beauty of believers that is meant for glory and power. As Nigeria turns 58, Nigerians should seek God in prayer to withstand the problems, tribulations and troubles being witnessed everywhere in the world”, he said.
The pastor urged citizens and leaders alike to put their trust in God as the country prepares for elections, adding that God is in control of all affairs of man.

“God is the one that is in charge of everything. Without God, no man can do anything. So, in all situations, we should continue to seek and trust God for the best. It is he alone that can save the country from crises and any situation that could make life difficult for citizens”, he said.
Giving insight into the Church’s numerous crusade in and outside the country, the GO explained that as the coming of Jesus Christ is closely approaching, the church is carrying out the instructions for his followers to go into the world and spread the gospel.
“The coming of Jesus Christ is at hand and we have been commanded to go into the world by our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ to preach the gospel. In obedience to this, we are going everywhere to preach the message of repentance.
“People need to amend their ways because Jesus is coming soon. Everybody should repent and turn to the Lord. We should accept the death and resurrection of Jesus for our salvation and invite him into our hearts as Lord and saviour. People should continue to live their lives according to the will of God”, he admonished.
Relating the theme to the prophecies of the end time, the pastor noted that biblical prophecies of perilous times in the last days are being witnessed now, all over the world.
“The perilous times have been prophesied in scripture. In the course of these perilous times, there is going to be economic crisis, diseases like Ebola, HIV-AIDS and the like. Problems of corruption and wickedness are everywhere. That is what we have on ground all over the world.
“We can all see the hand writing on the wall that Jesus is coming soon. So, everybody should come closer to the Lord in prayer and righteousness, so that we will be able to make it when the trumpet shall sound”, he said.
While urging Nigerian youths to give their lives to Christ and live right, the cleric advised them to make good use of their time now, adding that whatever they do now will determine who and what they will be in future.
“The youths should realise that whatever they do now shall determine their future. They should give their lives to Christ, be born again, and live right.
“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. If they give their life to Jesus as youths, and live according to the will of God, God will be with them always and will give them a bright future”, he assured.
