My Own Note To Myself.

“I pray that day draws near when the news of the end of the wicked shall be met with utter or relative silence- in the near equal way the newly deceased worked tirelessly in his lifetime to silence the will of the downtrodden, the innocuous ways he added more to the already full burden of the masses and as he was chiefly involved in railroading the destinies of a multitude. However, my joy remains forever full in the knowledge of Death as the ultimate Equalizer. I am more in the foreboding awe of the invincible Maker, who’s totally incorruptible- that One none can see to plead with or bribe, so He could be expediently partial enough to pass the buck of Death away from the Noble unto the next available peasant or tilt the lot of doom on an enriched designated entity on his or her behalf. I am in awe of the superior discretion of the One ordering the course of the Universe as- it consistently proves much more than the creative fakery of those inhabiting it. More than we love to indicate our solemnity, or show compassion in the cliche of our “REST IN PEACE” erudition, it’s of a certainty that the peace of the corpse of either the Rich or the Poor; the Stately, the Princely or the Lowly shall be disturbed with due respect, and in certain cases- with no respect at all, from the moment of death- by those specially commissioned to handle dead bodies- to the moment and days after internment by the many crucial elements of nature. Incidentally those “disturbers of peace” in death are those same characters expressly or judiciously kept at bay by the deceased while alive.
“And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this judgement”. O’ Lord give me the courage to accept my redemption or eternal doom- as either one fits my way of life. So when it is all said and done, and as I lay lifeless in my deathbed, please open the eyes of those faithful to me at all cost- to see the fruits of my lifetime as they truly stand- good or bad! Let the decision to either follow my blossoming way or desist from its ruinous path be sincere and celestial. For in death, I have traveled beyond the realm of deception. Blind to the vanities of life. I am already deaf to the vainglorious melodies from the assembled choir of the usual sycophants. I am utterly dumb to give credence to it all. I am now fully at the mercy of God, the hot core of the earth, the attending termites and the religious works of biodegradation.”- Odolaye To Odolaye.
