The Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) is working hard to ensure the availability of wifi services in all the five major airports in Nigeria, Engr. Umar Ahmed Farouk assured.
Farouk, who is the Managing Director of NAMA, made the disclosure during an inspection tour of Murtala Mohammed International Airport to confirm the functionality of its wifi services.
According to him, providing advanced communication services to all airports in Nigeria is part of their statutory
mandate which they are enthusiastic towards delivering same.

While stressing that he was satisfied with the strength of the wifi services provided by NAMA when the MD Engr Farouk led some technical staff of the agency on a tour of the airport, he further expressed satisfaction that every corner of the airport is perfectly covered by network.
A statement signed by NAMA’s Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Abdullahi Musa quoted the agency’s MD as saying,
“I am very delighted with what we have seen here today in Lagos. Our free wifi service is working perfectly and optimally in every nook and cranny of the airport. I have had course to interact with a few passengers and staff here and the reports we are getting about the wifi service are very encouraging.
“‘i am also using this avenue to advise passengers to log on to the SSID: FREE AIRPORT WIFI NAMA/NCC to access and enjoy the free wifi, as NAMA would continue to strive to ensure not only the safety of air navigation in Nigeria but the comfort and satisfaction of passengers at the Nigerian airport terminals as well””.
