The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Uja Tor Uja has inaugurated two working committees for the October – December 2016 Pilgrimage to Israel, Rome and Greece. The committees are Airlift and Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.
The Executive Secretary charged members of the Airlift Committee to ensure the safety of Nigerian Pilgrims during and after the pilgrimage exercise. He affirmed that the Lord has been very faithful to the Commission for the safety which the Nigerian Pilgrim had enjoyed over the years. He further tasked the Committee to also ensure the comfort and convenience of Nigerians Pilgrims during pilgrimage.

In the same vein, Rev. Uja also charged members of the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee to ensure that they turn in a healthy report after the pilgrimage which would help to further strengthen future pilgrimage operation. According to him, such report is important because “pilgrimage must grow from glory to glory”.
Rev. Uja also informed that two other committees would be inaugurated at a later date, which are Committee on Spirituality and Counseling as well as Committee on Finance and Accounts.
The committee on airlift is headed by Mrs Comfort Ekaro, a member of board of NCPC representing Federal Ministry of Aviation while the Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation is headed by Mrs Regina Edzuwah who is also a Board member representing Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The essence of these Committees is to ensure a hitch free 2016 Pilgrimage operation.
