As part of its commitment in enhancing the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future, nestle Nigeria, launched a new food seasoning cube, ‘Maggi Naija Pot’, with the aim to amplify the authentic Nigerian essence of food.

The unveiling of the product was done during a media launch and factory visit, on Tuesday at the company’s factory, Ogun state.

Speaking at the product launch, the Managing Director and chief Executive Officer, Mauricio Alarcon, in his opening remarks said, “we dedicate ourselves to deeply understanding the needs and preferences of our consumers, and then we tailor our products to suit local tastes and food cultures.”

He said, ‘Maggi Naija Pot’ is a new seasoning cube in Nigeria developed in Nigeria based on the strong understanding of local cuisine. It aims at amplifying the authentic Nigerian essence of food.

Mauricio noted that, “Naija Pot’ is the only seasoning cube in Nigeria, full of fish flavour with the unique combination of natural smoked fish, stockfish, and crayfish to give soups and pottages that bottom pot taste that Nigeria loves. He added that this cube will help save time, money and efforts since it combines selected locally known Ingredients in one small cube, and a source of iodine for higher nutritional value.

According to the Category Manager of the Culinary Nestlé Nigeria, Nordine Meguini, ‘Maggi Naija Pot’, which came in a modern new packaging is the only seasoning cube in Nigeria.
