Gernot Rohr has rung the changes both in personnel and tactics opting for a 3-5-2 while surprisingly, Alex Iwobi will be starting from the bench while Abdullahi Shehu will also not start. Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho will pair his club mate Ahmed Musa up front for the Super Eagles.


Nigeria play against Iceland at Volgograd Stadium in a make-or-mar tie. The Super Eagles will have their qualification fate in their hands if they come off with a win against at Volgograd. A loss will signal the end of the road for the Gernot Rohr’s men.
