Dr Babajide Dasaolu, Dept of Philosophy, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State in a chat with InfoTrust over the development counselled students and parents not to be too desperate but to make proper clarifications, and also ensure that parents as well guardians cross-check the institutions of their children and wards before making payment whenever they claimed to have admission into tertiary institution. He said, “the pains of checking at the start of their educational career won’t be as much as that of discovering years later, after wasting money and time that such university or polytechnic is not accredited by NUC. It is proper for parents and guardians to ensure due diligence, proper check and in case they don’t know what to do, or where to go, they can always ask someone who is more enlightened. There is no crime in due diligence”
