The final game of the on-going Zenith Bank Delta Principals Cup will feature Obule Integrated School from Sapele against Boys Secondary School at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba on March 15.

Obule Integrated School defeated Ekpan Secondary School by eight goals to seven penalty shootout when the regular period ended 1-1 at the Agbor Township Stadium

Incidentally, Ekpan Secondary School led 1-0 at half time, while Obule levelled scores in the second stanza of the highly thrilling encounter.

Earlier in the first semifinal, Boys Secondary School defeated Comprehensive Secondary School 4-3 through another penalty shoot-out following a 1-1 ending of the regular time.

Among the dignitaries expected to witness the final game are officials of Delta State government led by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank, Peter Amangbo and top officers of the bank, as well as some board members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Looking forward to an interesting final game, Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank, Peter Amangbo, said at the weekend that his bank was happy about the progress of the tournament.

“We are proud of the event because it is getting bigger and better every year. We expect a good final match and our target is to have some of these players come up in future to represent Nigeria at various levels of football,” Amangbo said.
