Ogun House of Assembly on Thursday dissolved its standing committees.
The Speaker, Mr Suraj Adekunbi (APC/Yewa North 1), announcing the dissolution during plenary in Abeokuta, said that it was to pave way for efficient service delivery.
Adekunbi explained that it was necessary to dissolve the existing standing committees in order to ensure better performance which would be results oriented.
The assembly also confirmed the nomination of Mr Morounfolu Oguntade, Mr Biyi Otegbeye, Abayomi Omoyinmi and Mrs Akanni Yemisi as members of the Judicial Service Commission.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the list of the nominees was forwarded to the state House of Assembly by Gov. Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun.
The Deputy Speaker, Mr Olakunle Oluomo (APC/ Ifo 1), submitted the report of the Committee of the Whole House on the screening of the nominees.
Oluomo later moved motion for the adoption of the report and it was seconded by Mr Akinpelu Aina (APC/Ado Odo Ota 1).
The deputy speaker also moved motion for the confirmation of the nominees and it was seconded by Mr Bowale Solaja (PDP/ Ijebu North 1).
Also at the plenary, the lawmakers showered praises on Gov. Amosun as he celebrated his 60th birthday.
