Oluwo Announces Wedding Date With Kano Princess

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has announced the date for his wedding to a princess from the Ado Bayero dynasty in Kano Firdauz Abdullahi.

The monarch trended recently when a letter was allegedly written by the palace to Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola soliciting financial assistance for the wedding.

Akanbi denied writing the“fake letter”, alleging mischievous people were behind it.
In the invite made available to The Nation, the Oluwo indicated the wedding will hold at the residence of Madakin Kano, Yola Quarters, Kano on March 19 by 11am.

The reception, which is strictly for ladies, is scheduled to for Palace of Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero by 4pm on the same date.
