The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has declared Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort the best in Nigeria for relaxation, culinary delights, and spiritual communion.
The Ooni, who has made it a tradition to spend December 27 at the iconic resort, was conducted on an extensive tour of its facilities. The tour was led by Mr. John Olajide, President of Cavista, along with his team, which included Chief Ayo Ademiluwa , and Mr. Dauda Lawal.
From 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., the Ooni explored the Presidential Villa, the bridge to the confluence of warm and cold springs, and the ecotourism arena. His Majesty was highly impressed with the upgrades and innovations that have transformed the resort into a world-class destination.

Commending Mr. Olajide for his visionary leadership in revamping the ecotourism enclave, the Ooni praised the remarkable strides that have positioned Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort as a national treasure.
The Ooni also lauded the tourism initiatives of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, highlighting the governor’s commitment to making Ekiti a global tourism hub. “Governor Oyebanji has elevated Ekiti State to international prominence as a tourism destination, and his efforts deserve widespread recognition,” the Ooni stated.
In addition, His Majesty acknowledged the pivotal role of Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre, Director-General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, describing him as a strategic and passionate leader in advancing the state’s tourism agenda.
To further enhance the resort’s offerings, the Ooni outlined ten recommendations to the management, emphasizing value addition and sustainability.
