Al-Makura Guarantees 90% Votes For PMB, APC In Nasarawa

Governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, has said that other political parties vying for various elective positions in the state are wasting their resources and will not win  the forthcoming general elections other than the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Al-Makura stated this yesterday in Keffi, the headquarters of Karu local government area while addressing the crowd that attended  the ongoing Nasarawa State APC governorship campaign rally in the area.

The governor advised opposition parties not to waste their time, money, energy and resources campaigning because there were no other political options in the state rather than the APC.

Al-Makura said, “We want President Muhammadu Buhari to be rest assured because all votes in the state are his. This is because since his assumption to office, he ensured that there is security for the lives and property of farmers and traders in the state, enabling them to go out for their daily activities and return back to their homes without fears.”

He said that plans have been completed by the federal government to float a railway line that will begin from the Abuja airport to connect Keffi town and passing through other towns in the state which including Mararaba, Karu and Masaka.

Al-Makura who described Karu, a satellite town to the Federal Capital Territory, as a mini Nigeria, said: “Majority of the residents of Karu who are from other parts of Nigeria are now bona fide indigenes of the state regardless of either being Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Itsekiri or any other ethnic groups.”

“Therefore, many residents of Karu have benefited from the federal government social intervention programmes like Tradermoni, school feeding programme, among others. Consequently, if Buhari is given another chance to lead this country, the country will experience more unprecedented developments,” he added.

He concluded that the Nasarawa State APC governorship candidate, Abdullahi Sule, was elected as the party’s flag-bearer during the primary elections based on his experience and ability to continue with the good work he (Al-Makura) has started.

On his part the APC governorship candidate, Sule, said he will explore the potentials of Karu local government area, close to Abuja by building a mega city.
