It is with profound sadness that I received the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of my dear friend and brother, Ajiboye Omodewu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State. His untimely demise in the United States has sent shockwaves throughout our political community and beyond.

Ajiboye Omodewu was more than just a leader; he was a visionary and a committed advocate for the progress and development of Oyo State. His unwavering dedication to the cause of our party and the people of Oyo State was evident in all his endeavours. His leadership, wisdom, and passion for bettering our society have left an indelible mark that will be remembered for years to come.

This loss is deeply shocking to me, and I am struggling to come to terms with it. Ajiboye’s death is not only a great loss to the APC but to everyone who had the honour of knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.

As we mourn this tragic loss, let us also celebrate the life of a man who gave so much of himself for the betterment of our state. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Signed,
Aare (Dr) Abisoye Fagade
