The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday congratulated His Royal Majesty, Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Oba Ewuare N’ Ogieva on his Coronation as the New Oba of Benin on the throne of his ancestors.
The Coronation which took place on Thursday October 20, 2016 according to the chronology of ascension to the Throne makes him the 40th Oba of Benin Kingdom, the Traditional Ruler of the Edo people succeeding his father, His Royal Highness, Oba Erediauwa who passed on in April, 2016.
