PDP Flags Off 2019 Campaign In Kebbi

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has flagged off its 2019 campaign for governorship election in Jega local government area of Kebbi State.

Mammoth crowd gathered at filin Tsakuwa, the venue for the campaign in Jega town singing, dancing and cheering the PDP governorship candidate, Senator Isa Galaudu and his running mate, Alhaji  Abubakar Malam.

Earlier before reaching the venue, the PDP governorship candidate, Isa Galaudu accompanied by his running mate, Abubakar Malan and party executives paid courtesy visit to the district head of Jega, Alhaji Muhammad Arzika , Sarkin kabi of Jega.

While addressing the mammoth crowd of PDP supporters, Galadu promised to address the issue of unemployment facing the youths in the state, empower women and vigorously pursue what he called real agricultural production.

He said welfare of civil servants and pensioners would also receive his top priority.

According to him the APC led government has failed to provide the basic necessities of life and also fail to fulfill their promises to people.

“it was clear that the people were tired of the APC led government in the state. I assure you that our government will offer better alternative to the misrule of the APC in the past three years now in Kebbi State”.

He said if elected he will make life better for people of the state and turn around the economy of the state and improve its infrastructure, urging them to collect their PVC to guarantee the victory of the party in the governorship and other elections in the state.

He enjoined the party supporters and people of the state to shun politics of bitterness and violence because Kebbi is known for the peaceful coexistence of its people.

In his remarks, the state PDP chairman, Alhaji Haruna Saidu urged electorates to vote for PDP and sack the ruling APC in 2019 election.

” Nigeria is our only country, let us salvage it together by voting PDP “, he said.
