Meanwhile, the Governor of Sokoto State and chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Aminu Tambuwal, has said that the party is hoping to achieve consensus in all the contested positions at the convention.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja on Friday, Tambuwal said the party had reached consensus in 95 per cent of the contested positions.

The positions the party has yet to have consensus candidates for are deputy national chairman (south), national youth leader and national auditor.
