PMB’s Victory Testament Of Acceptance – Minister

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has described the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari’s in last Saturday’s presidential election as a testament to the acceptance of his people-oriented policies in the last four years.

In a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the minister, Anthony Ogunleye, which was made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday, Bello expressed satisfaction that residents of the FCT performed their civic responsibility in an atmosphere characterised by peace and orderliness.

He also enjoined residents to be restrained in their celebration of the president’s victory and to be mindful of their utterances and actions while expressing their elation.

While calling on those that lost the elections to accept the outcome of the polls as the will of the Almighty, the minister reminded residents of the FCT that they all had a responsibility to come together to build a capital city of our dreams.

Bello also commended the efforts of the law enforcement agencies in maintaining law and order throughout the elections, just as he  urged residents to continue to replicate their peaceful conduct as they turn on to vote for the area council elections scheduled to hold on the 9th of March 2019.
