Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has implored the president to expedite actions on the creation of state and local government police system in a bid to stem the tide of insecurity in the country.
He made the plea on Friday, November 28, 2025, during the early morning service conducted at the international headquarters of the church in Lagos.
He said the kidnapping in the country which has become widespread would attract protests.
He disclosed that kidnapping in the country is no longer a joke and the government must stand up strong to counter the menace.
He said terrorism and kidnapping are killing people quietly and is everywhere, and they can strike at anytime.

Primate Ayodele said that government should not sleep because the only languages terrorists and kidnappers know are killing and destruction.
He urged the president to create and deploy the services of forest guards, state and local government police to flush out the miscreants from Nigeria.
Primate Ayodele said, “The kidnapping matter will lead to a lot of protests.
“Kidnapping will spread across board, kidnapping will not be the best for this country.
“Don’t joke with kidnappers, don’t joke with terrorism.
“Tinubu try as much as you can to change the face of these terrorism and kidnappers, kidnapping is killing people quietly.
“Nigerians are tired of kidnappers because kidnappers are everywhere, they can strike anytime.
“The government should not sleep, though kidnapping will go but they will cause damages, cause destruction.
“Utilize forest guards, create state police, local government police,” Primate Ayodele stated.
