PZ renews contract with celebrity ambassador

Following a successful three-year partnership with Nigerian celebrity, Olympic, a brand of PZ Cussons has renewed its contract with Peter Okoye as its brand ambassador. The announcement was made at the official contract signing ceremony held at PZ’s head office in Ilupeju, Lagos.

According to PZ Cussons Managing Director Commercial, Alex Goma, the contract signing signifies the continuation of Peter’s activities as Olympic brand ambassador, a position which will among other things see him champion the cause for a healthy and active lifestyle and also represent the brand at different levels. “It is a pleasure to continue working with Peter knowing that there is a perfect synergy between him and the Olympic brand. We, at PZ are happy to give consumers a brand that helps them keep fit, stay active for longer and also help them stay healthy,” he said.

In his words, Regional Category Marketing Director – Africa, Food & Nutrition, Mr. Kalyan Bandyopadhyah said: “the relationship between Peter and the brand has grown into a very fruitful one and we will continue to work together to promote healthy lifestyles among Nigerians.”

On his part, Peter Okoye commended PZ for the long partnership and for giving him the privilege to continue championing the cause of the brand, encouraging Nigerians to embrace a more active lifestyle.

He promised to keep spreading the brand’s messaging of affordable nutrition delivering a trusted healthy formulation with the promise of low cholesterol content. Olympics’ Regional Category Marketing Manager (Africa), Raphael Agbaje lauded Peter and added that his ambassadorial role is important to the brand as his creativity always comes to play in placing the brand on the right pedestal to drive connection, affinity and endearment to consumers.
