R.Kelly has requested for copies of the sex tapes that might indict him and leave him in prison.
This new development is coming on the heels of travelling to Dubai for gigs which the Dubai government has shown their displeasure and are fighting against. The Dubai Media Office, issued a statement Sunday stating that the government was unaware of the supposed gigs and his alleged meeting with the ruling royal Al Maktoum family of Dubai.

Meanwhile, at his hearing in court, R.Kelly and his lawyers demanded to see the sex tapes and are hoping that by Friday, copies will be in their hands.
TMZ reports that his lawyer, Steven Greenberg says that after his prosecutors hand over the tapes and other materials (police reports, reports from his 2008 trials and the two sex tapes from Michael Avennatti) at the hearing, they might be lucky to get the copies.
