Reps Deputy Speaker Drums Support For Buhari Re-election

Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Lasun Yussuff has called on Nigerians to vote massively for President Muhammadu Buhari at the forthcoming general elections, saying his sincerity and commitment to take Nigeria to the next level is not in doubt.

He made the call while speaking with newsmen shortly after he empowered no fewer than 1,070 people drawn from his constituency with N20,000 each to boost Agriculture and enhance food production in Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo federal constituency of Osun State.

He described President Buhari administration as a government for the poor and the common man which informed his decision to emulate the President by empowering women and youths in his constituency with twenty one million, four hundred thousand naira only (N21, 400,000.00) to assist them in their business.

His words: “All the Social Investment Programmes of the Buhari administration is to empower the common man and he is determined to do more when voted in power for another term”

According to him, President Buhari’s work in the past three years speaks for him adding that the President has delivered on his campaign promises.

Speaking on the empowerment programme, Hon. Yussuff said it was a necessary tools to empower beneficiaries and also boost food production for the survival of the populace.

He however charged the beneficiaries to utilize the money for the purpose for which it was disbursed to serve .
