A bloody clash between two rival cult groups has claimed scores of lives in some parts of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State.
Different sources disclosed that the clash began two weeks ago and extended to early this week. The clashes had left about 20 dead, including innocent residents of the area.
It was gathered that members of Eiye and Aiye confraternity were engaged in gunfire, which caused tension in Ijebu-Ode and its environs.

Several persons were reportedly killed in Epe garage, Ejinrin road Ibadan-garage and Adefisan during the cult clash.
It was further gathered that few other persons lost their lives in Onirugba, old Benin-Ondo road, Oke-Owa. On Monday, two persons were reportedly killed behind a popular hotel in Oke-Aje.
When contacted, the Spokesperson for the Ogun Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident but denied that innocent persons were killed in the bloody clash.
