The Chairman Senate Committee on ICT and cyber-crime, Senator Fatai Buhari has reinstate the commitment of the All Progressives Congress administration to make the country a better one for its people.
Senator Buhari from Oyo North senatorial district gave this assurance during the 4th Ramadan lecture held in Ogbomoso today.
The APC lawmaker maintained that the present situation in Nigeria though may not be suitable but it will give way to a better and glorious future for the country. He urges the people to support the present administration so as to ensure the realization of our having a great nation.
‘Changing Nigeria is a collective responsibility and with the leadership of President Buhari, there is hope that we shall see and enjoy dividends of democracy’

While charging Nigerians to continue to pray for the peace and progress of the country, Sen Buhari said, ‘my brothers and sisters in Islam and Christians including other religion,to us this period of Ramadan is a moment of prayer, a time to pray for the country and the leaders.
Dr Shobuur Alaya in his lecture entitled, “Islam and the fight against corruption”, task parent and people in position of their responsibility. He admonishes them to always make use of the doctrine and practice of Islam in their day to day activities .
‘Islam religion did not encourage corruption and we should live our life according to the dictates of the religion and norms of our society’ .
The event also witnessed Senator Fatai Buhari presenting a car gift to the guest lecturer.
Dignitaries at the event includes, Dr Saka Balogun, Chief of staff to former governor of Oyo state; Otunba Alan Alaba and his deputy, Alhaji Radar Gbadegesin, chief imam of Ogbomoso land, Alhaji Yekeen Asafa Sanusi, Alhaji Bolaji Dauda Afolabi, State coordinator NACOMYO and other Islamic scholars.
