The senatorial candidate who made this known in an interview with LEADERSHIP expressed regret that the rescheduling has brought national and international embarrassment to Nigeria’s corporate image.

He accused the President of Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for deliberately neglecting national issues and shutting down activities of the national assembly for personal interests.

He said: “The national assembly was not on ground to follow up electoral activities, so it became to late for the electoral officers to put things in order and that contributed to the logistic and operational problems.

Recall that INEC earlier, announced the shift of the February 16 Presidential and National Assembly elections to February 23.
