The Seed of Christ Golden Church, Alakia, Ibadan and Ibadan home for motherless babies came alive on 23rd December as Amb (Mrs) Soyebi Abiodun Oluwakemi, the founder of SHOKESTA Development Initiative put smiles on the faces of the widows and motherless babies.
Shokesta as she is popularly known yearly for over 6 years celebrate her birthday which comes up every December 26 by ensuring that she visits home, give to the needy and also pray with them. This year, she visited Ibadan home for motherless babies adjacent U.C.H along Omolewa Nursery and Primary School Road, Ibadan, Oyo State. With her team, Amb Soyebi proceeded to the Seed of Christ Golden Church, Sebioba bus stop, Idi Obi, Airport Area, Alakia, Ibadan. She and her team were received by Apostle (Dr) S.M.O Mustapha (JP), (Baba Sebioba) and wife, Prophetess Eunice Sebioba (Mama Sebioba).
In her chat with INFOTRUST, she said “I am always happy whenever i see the needy smile. My heart always reaches out to them. Mind you, it is not one off for the year. I reach out daily to the needy because that is my calling and my passion. Today is just to mark my birthday and to thank God for everything He has done for me.”
On the choice of Ibadan home for motherless babies, she told INFOTRUST, ” Ibadan motherless babies home i consider the real motherless babies home because all the children in that home lost their mother’s at childbirth. The children were not picked from gutters neither were they born throway to use common slang.
“I want to appeal for more philanthropist in the society to pay more attention to these ones who are just victims of circumstance”
