Mrs Victory Samuel, the widow of a worker of Julius Berger who was allegedly shot dead by a policeman during a protest in Kpor, in the Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, has called for justice.
While lamenting the death of her husband, Ajayi Samuel, she demanded the arrest and prosecution of the killer cop.

Mrs Samuel stated this on Wednesday during an interview on Nigeria Info, 92.3FM, Port Harcourt.

“I started to hear them talking among themselves that I was asleep. They said that my husband was dead.
“I want justice to prevail because it was the company he was working for that brought the police to the place (of the protest). And it was the police that shot my husband.
“They (police) didn’t even rush him to hospital. If they had rushed him to a hospital early, he would not have died,” she added.
