Sokoto APC Passes Vote Of No Confidence On Party North-West Zonal Chairman

The entire machinery of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Sokoto has unanimously passed a vote of no confidence on Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir over what they described as anti-party activities.

This development followed a meeting by all the state executive committee of the party, the 23 local government chairman of the party as well all elected representatives at the state and national Assembly level.

According to a statement signed by the party’s state publicity secretary, Bello Sambo Danchadi, the vote of no confidence passed on Inuwa was predicated on his flagrant and sustained anti party activities which they said continued unabatedly.

The statement read in part, “This decision was reached at the State Exectuive Committee meeting of the party which was also attended by the Chairmen of the party in all the twenty three local governments of the state.

“The party regretted that, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir has continued to romance and openly work for the opposition party, rather than his supposed party, the APC.

“The leaders of the party have therefore called to the National Leadership of the APC,to urgently do the needful , take all the necessary steps to remove Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir from office”.

The party however passed a vote of confidence on their state leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko for his genuine commitment to the progress of the party.

Wamakko, who is the chairman, Northern Senators Forum and 2015, 2019 north west Buhari Presidential Campaign Council,  assured the party that their stolen mandate will be retrieved at the appropriate time.

Speaking on his part, the state party chairman, Isa Sadiq Achida affirmed that the entire party machinery in the state was satisfied with the leadership style, commitment and foresight of Senator Wamakko in championing the cause of the APC and Sokoto State.

Sokoto APC further decried what they called painful transfer and intimidation against civil servants perceived to be loyal to the APC in the just concluded general elections.

“The party decried that , the ongoing arbitrary and punitive postings of such workers were majorly intended to settle political goals , rather than furthering  service delivery , as well as taking Sokoto State to the next level” it said.
