Jadon Sancho might be one of the most talented players in European football but he’s not having the greatest season at Borussia Dortmund.

The 19-year-old has been involved in several incidents recently that has left him unsettled with life in Germany.

Last month, he was fined £86,000 and dropped for their important Bundesliga clash against league leaders Borussia Monchengladbach after returning late from international duty.

He was then made to train by himself after criticism from sporting director Michael Zorc.

Then, on Saturday, Sancho was humiliated during Dortmund’s 4-0 loss to Bayern Munich by being substituted after 36 minutes.

Afterwards, manager Lucian Favre said “He was not injured, he trained yesterday. I had to go on what I was seeing and, to be honest, it was not good enough.”

And now, according to the Daily Mail, Sancho wants to leave Dortmund next summer.

Sancho left Manchester City for Dortmund in 2017 after seeing first-team opportunities limited at the Etihad.

And it’s been an inspired decision as Sancho has established himself as one of the best players in the German league.

But is it now time for him to return to England and Jurgen Klopp’s side?

ANALYSIS

GIVEMESPORT’S Rob Hoskin says: Would Sancho be tempted with a move to the European champions? Quite possibly.

Could Liverpool afford him? Quite possibly.

Sancho is set to cost any potential suitor in excess of £100 million. After not spending a penny last summer, Liverpool may just be able to cough up that amount.

But there’s no way Klopp would sign Sancho if Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are still at the club. And would Sancho want to sign knowing that he’d have to compete with those three?

So, one of Liverpool’s attacking trio would have to make way for Sancho if he was to join next summer.

Salah out, Sancho in? It would be interesting to know what Liverpool fans would think of that…
