Here’s how we rated the Tottenham players after their 3-2 win at West Ham in Jose Mourinho’s first match in charge

Harry Kane celebrates with Harry Winks and Lucas Moura after his goal

Paulo Gazzaniga

Organic Creame

Only had two comfortable catches to make in the first hour and couldn’t do much about Antonio’s low finish. Made a decent reaction save to Alderweireld’s late flick towards his own goal but couldn’t stop Ogbonna’s late goal. 6

Serge Aurier

Dealt with West Ham’s limp wing play down his flank comfortably and picked out Kane with a perfect curling cross for the captain to head home in the second half. 7

Davinson Sanchez

Playing on the right of Alderweireld for a change. Had a header tipped over by Roberto and made some big interceptions in the box on the deck and in the air. 7

Toby Alderweireld

Had dealt with most things comfortably but got sold a dummy by Antonio in the second half which gave the West Ham man the space to score. 6

Ben Davies

A solid match at left-back but picked up an injury with 15 minutes to go. 7

Eric Dier

Plenty of sloppy passes in the first half but he provided the screen in front of the back four that Mourinho will want. The minutes and the miles in midfield will have done him good. 6

Harry Winks

Looked far more confident after his England display the previous weekend and used the ball well. 7

Dele Alli

Took on the role of the playmaker and he put Kane, Son and Lucas into some good early positions. He set up Son’s opening goal and then superbly managed to back flick the ball into the same player’s path while falling on his back to help set him away to set up Lucas for the second goal. His best performance in a Spurs shirt for a long while and he was involved in everything that the away side did well. 9

Lucas Moura

Struggled to get into the game at first in the first half, but battled away and earned his moment with a perfectly timed run to fire home Son’s low cross. Missed a big chance early in the second half when put through by the same player. 7

Son Heung-min

Saw an early shot saved by Roberto before blasting home the first goal of the Mourinho era from Alli’s pass. Then set up Lucas for his goal with an inch-perfect low cross. Was bright throughout and tried to get Spurs away on counter attacks at every opportunity. A goal and an assist for the South Korean star. 8

Harry Kane

Had the ball in the net early on but was flagged offside. Added to his London derby tally in the second half with a run timed well to meet Aurier’s cross and head past Roberto. Had a big chance on the hour mark, running clear after a mistake by Diop but he couldn’t get his shot away before the West Ham got back with a challenge. 8

Subs

Danny Rose

Replaced Davies in the final 15 minutes and made one good tackle to earn Spurs a goal kick. 6

Christian Eriksen

Replaced Alli but didn’t make any impact on events. N/A

Moussa Sissoko

Came on in the final stages for Lucas. N/A
