Start 2 Dance, Mut4y, Wande Coal tell fans in new single | The Guardian Nigeria News

Sequel to his last release alongside Shaydee titled 4 Play, one half of the production duo Legendury Beatz and Starboy music maker, Mut4y is back and this time, all he wants his fans and alike to do is Start 2 Dance.

Featuring Turkey Nla crooner, Wande Coal also known as Black Diamond, Start 2 Dance boasts a solid afro-pop beat, which is good for the party-starting anthem, and Mut4y, with the help of Wande Coal, invites music buffs to dance, an offer that is impossible to refuse.

On the bubbly, infectious track, Wande Coal describes an encounter with a girl, over whom he is driven crazy, especially because of her banging body. ‘Start 2 Dance’ plays by the rules of many afro-pop jams, but Wande Coal gives it that extra special touch.

Mut4y whose real name is Okiemute Oniko is an award winning singer, songwriter and producer born on May 27, 1989. Signed to Wizkid’s Starboy Music, he has showcased his production skills with many hit songs in Nigeria. He is simply a versatile artiste with his production style deeply rooted in afro-beat and other music genres including Hip hop, R&B and Afro-pop. He also plays other instruments like Sampler and drums.

The beat maker alongside his brother, Uzezi Oniko, was raised on afro-beat, fuji and all variations of Congolese music from African icons such as Fela Kuti, Angelique Kidjo, Lagbaja, and Awilo Logomba among others. Legendury beatz came to limelight in 2009 after they met with Weird MC, a female rapper and songwriter, and the meeting saw them produce the Allen Avenue crooner’s new singles Happy Day and Moving Up.

The duo is also known for producing Wizkid’s critically acclaimed single Azonto, which helped to further popularized the Ghanaian ‘Azonto’ dance. Their production imprint is also seen on many other hit songs across the country such as Brymo’s Ara, Mo’Cheddah’s Ko Ma Roll, Emini Baller by Chidinma, L.A.X’s Ginger, Wizkid’s Caro and Ojuelegba.
