Tambuwal Appoints New SSG, Retains Cos

The Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, has appointed Mr. Saidu Umar, as the Secretary to the State Government.

Umar was the Commissioner of Finance in the last Executive Council.

Similarly, Governor Tambuwal also reappointed Alhaji Muktar Umar Magori, as Chief of Staff, Government House, Sokoto.

Alhaji Muktar Magori is the current Chief of Staff to the Governor.

The news of the appointments was contained in a press release, issued Thursday morning by Abubakar Shekara, Director General, Media and Public Affairs to the Sokoto state governor.

Tambuwal congratulated the two appointees and enjoined them to re-dedicate themselves to the service of the people while praying to Allah to guide them in their assigned tasks. [PUNCH]
