I looked back into the political errors committed by PDP some years back, I took a second look at the reasons why those errors were committed in the first instance. After due consideration of the matters arising, I became terribly sorry for the actors who are now paying back for their insensitivity and insincerity in the face of alleged political tyranny and present state of national economic recession .
I remember how the problem started with the then Presidency hiring and firing of the Party Chairmen in quick successions . The Governors were made leaders of the party in their respective States thus putting the party structure under all powerful godfathers who later became thorns in the flesh of the party across the States and at the National level.
Then came the BOT politirics, the removal of Oyinlola and Bode Mustapha as National Secretary and Auditor respectively, this was the era of court injunctions while Bamangar Turkur issue was the last straw that broke the camel’s back. Jonathan inability to rise up to the challenge to address the issues brought up by the then “new PDP” platform and the eventual resignation of OBJ and the exit of the six Governors from the party will be remembered as the day the largest party in Africa was diagnosed of cancer ailment: a life threatening terminal disease it never survived
The Aso rock Doctors could not perform the needed surgical operations without spilling the bloods of the sacred cows since the man at the centre was not prepared to offer necessary sacrifice to salvage the life of the Giant that was lying hopelessly at the theatre.
At the last minutes ,the bank vaults were rolled out and the treasury doors were left widely opened on the spending sprey to redeem the life of the Giant at the emergency ward but alas! the king was already in the market square dancing naked. The King later joined his Ancestors and was wrapped with his royal robes in the inner temple of the palace. Since then several priests and diviners had been called to revive the life of the King thinking he had only been in comatose commuting with the spirits.
Today, we are recounting the tale of the Giant who went sick, defied all known medical and spiritual treatments/cleansing and eventually died and kept in the morgue….Can the Giant resurrect from the cemetery like Our Lord Jesus Christ is the question that needs the attention of its faithfuls
