ThrillerbandZ Music Challenge will Promote Livebands In Nigeria

The ThrillerbandZ Music Challenge will be taking place at the National Theatre on Friday 17th December to 18th December. The primary objective of the LiveBand Challenge is to showcase an important aspect of our musical heritage for development into a viable Cultural product.

The initiative is to boost the composition of meaningful lyrics and lively songs, quality dance styles, stage appeal as well as excellent performances to delight music patrons even beyond the shores of Nigeria.

The 12 hours back to back music concert is put together by Evergreen Musical Company Ltd in Partnership with National Theatre.

Livebands play prominent roles in our day to day social activities ie weddings, burials, birthday, naming ceremonies, religious and Political conventions, etc

Not less than 50 Livebands are expected to compete to showcase their musical appeal to thrill , pleasure and dazzle the audience and African music Aficionados in a relaxed environment with unique ambience , colourful lightnings, savory culinary delights and drinks.

This event which is no doubt a first of it’s kind event in Nigeria will overtime become a veritable platform that will help to boost authentic African music repertoire and tourism in Nigeria.

During the just Concluded Press Conference which held at the National Theatre Marquee the Lagos State Government represented by the amiable SA, Tourism, Art and Culture , Mr Solomon Bonu promised full Sponsorship support and commitment of the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s administration for the event.

Some of the performers particularly amongst the youths showed their high hopes and expectations on the pleges made by the Babajide Olusola -Olu’s administration through the SA, Tourism.

According to Bimbo Esho the brain behind this initiative she said outstanding performers shall win laurels, fantastic cash prizes and musical instruments and many talents shall be exposed to the media and record labels.
