The elder statesman has also been described as the embodiment of dynamic leadership and quality services, who has displayed exceptional attitude in ensuring that he is associated with quality milestones and projects that brings tremendous benefits to the people.

Delta’s leading 2019 gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Obire O’diakpo, made the assertions while chatting with newsmen during the event of the 10th Tinubu’s Colloquium in Lagos, Thursday, where he poured encomiums on the party’s foremost leader, Tinubu.

He emphasised that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remains one of the very few eminent Nigerians whose passion for the attainment of a better nation is unwavering, stressing that if his, Tinubu’s wise counsels and directions are heeded and implemented, “the Nigeria of our dreams that we are all fighting to achieve, will not be any farther from our reach.”

Dr. Obire, while wishing the APC leader birthday goodwills, noted that although Tinubu has done a lot for the country, there is still much more that he would do towards ensuring the lay down of the strong foundation upon which all the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians could be achieved same way he did in Lagos State that has made Lagos the cynosure of all eyes and envy of its contemporary States.

The aspirant congratulated Tinubu on the occasion of his 2018 birthday anniversary for which the Colloquium is held annually since the past ten (10) years, while wishing him many more years of useful and distinguished services to Nigeria and Nigerians.

Dr. Obire also prayed the Almighty God to grant Tinubu good health, and strengthen him by every standards to be able to deliver more of the good works that has characterized his brand since being in charge of Lagos State as governor, and up till this time.

Meanwhile, Dr. Obire has hinted that Tinubu remains one of his mentors who he would follow his footsteps in terms of development and qualitative service when he eventually becomes governor of Delta State come 2019.

He said the APC leader, Tinubu has displayed sufficient reasons for reasonable Nigerians to agree without reservations that he possesses a magic wand, leadership template and a developmental blueprint that stands him out among his contemporaries and the comity of elder statesmen across the country.

Speaking further, Dr. Obire said the same way those who succeeded Tinubu as governors of Lagos State have been performing excellently well to the acknowledgement of all Nigerians, because of the solid structure laid down by Tinubu, he (Obire) being a good pupil of the Tinubu institution, intends to replicate the good works happening in Lagos State, in Delta beginning from 2019.

He therefore called on Deltans to be prepared to launch into the era of real positive development, which shall be the hallmark of his administration when he becomes governor.
