Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has urged her colleague, Halima Abubakar, to name the bullies in the Nigerian movie industry.

Dikeh said this in response to Abubakar’s Instagram post, where the latter revealed that there were bullies in Nollywood, and she’d name all of them.

Abubakar on Monday, while posting about the viral case of a student’s death in Dowen college, Lagos, stated that she was a victim of bullying, adding that bullies were also in Nollywood.

The said student, 11-year-old Sylvester Oromoni, died last week as a result of the injuries he sustained while he was allegedly tortured by bullies in his school.

Abubakar wrote, “The perpetrators should be brought out and justice served so Sylvester can have closure and finally rest in peace.

“Bullying is actually rampant. They keep covering it up. I’m a ‘border’ and I know how schools cover crimes in boarding schools.”

She added, “Kindly stop and talk to your kids. Many more are hidden. Look, even in Nollywood, we have bullies and I will name them all.”
In response to Abubakar claims, Tonto Dikeh took to her Instagram page to ask Abubakar to name the bullies so that people can know them and “say hi to them.”

“Hallibooboo, stop tensioning us, abeg. My friend, no be everytime you want give us gist, you go come listen to people wey go tell you say you big pass this thing. Give us gist,” Tonto Dikeh wrote in Pidgin.

She added, “Name names jor, let us know and say hi to them.”
