Meanwhile, Tottenham have arrived Turin in a private jet for today’s Champions League clash with Juventus.

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad looked in good spirits as they were filmed on the club’s Instagram account boarding a private jet at London Stansted airport yesterday.

It’s one of the toughest draws Spurs could have been given with Juve having reached two Champions League finals in the last three seasons and chasing a seventh consecutive Serie A title.

Pochettino was first up the stairs and onto the jet with the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen all following behind wearing their grey Spurs tracksuits.

The flight took around two hours and Pochettino will be keen to remove any effects from travelling before today’s highly anticipated clash at the Allianz Stadium.

Morale is expected to be high within the camp following Spurs’ 1-0 victory in the north London derby at Wembley on Saturday.

One of those not in the group was Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld. He has been left out as he continues to recover from injury.

Though the Belgium centre back believes he is fit and ready to play against Juventus after recovering from his hamstring problem, Pochettino has opted to take a more cautious approach.

The defender returned from three months out in the FA Cup win over Newport last Wednesday.
