The Acting national chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Victor Giadom has handed over the leadership of the party to Governor Mai Mala Buni who was recently appointed as chairman of the caretaker committee.
At the handing over ceremony which took place at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Monday June 29, Giadom assurred the committee of his readiness to partner with them to achieve the party goals and objectives towards a successful national convention.

“I Chief Honourable Victor Giadom the outgoing acting national chairman, today Monday 29th of June 2020 hands over to the chairman and members of the national caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress.
“I assure the committee of my readiness to partner with them to achieve the party goals and objectives towards a successful national convention.
“I pray that the almighty God grants you wisdom to pilot the affairs of the party.”
The national working committee (NWC) of the party was dissolved on Thursday following a leadership crisis.
The court of appeal had upheld the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the national chairman of the party.
While the late Abiola Ajimobi, former Oyo governor, was named acting chairman, Giadom said he had taken over.
President Muhammadu Buhari eventually recognised Gaidom as the acting chairman of the party.
