Sorting and counting of votes have commenced at most of the various poling units across the country after voting ended by 2pm.
Sorting of ballot papers began after voting closed at 2pm at Adeniji Adele Lagos island and many polling units in the area as reported by Robert Awokuse.
Also, Ward 7, Unit 9 Lagos island local govt, votes counted, party agents described election process as transparent and credible
Ward 7, unit 011, Lagos Island, observers, party agents, voters said that turn out was very poor, which according to them was as a result of the postponement. But the process they said was credible and transparent.
It was a peaceful atmosphere at ward C3, unit 033, Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye as the votes were being counted in the presence of voters and party agents.

NAN reports that counting commenced at exactly 2.23 pm at Uzukpe Village Square, Otolo.
In most of the units visited, Party Agents were seen monitoring sorting and counting of the votes by collation officers. (NAN)
A party agent, Mrs Bukola Ajibade, at a poling unit in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye described today’s election as “very free, fair and peaceful”. She and other political party agents were seen relating cheerfully with each others as the votes were being counted. But the process they said was credible and transparent
