Dillian Whyte has demanded that the WBC force Tyson Fury to face him next following his victory over Deontay Wilder.

The Gypsy King, 33, ended his rivalry with the Bronze Bomber on Saturday night after securing an 11th round knockout victory in Las Vegas.

However, Fury has maintained that he will take a break before deciding his next plan with Whyte the WBC’s mandatory challenger for his title, while a unification fight against the winner of Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch with Anthony Joshua could be on the horizon.

Whyte  has now come out to state that he must fight Fury next and that the WBC must compel the Gypsy King to face him.

‘Fury has the belt. Wilder had the chance to fight me for three years but didn’t,’ Whyte told Sky Sports News.

‘Hopefully now the WBC forces my position and Fury has no choice. It’s a massive British fight, a major fight for Britain. [However] Fury is an unpredictable man who might say: ‘I am done!’

The 33-year-old admitted he is thinking about fighting Fury and is willing to ‘risk it all’ to get his chance to fight for the heavyweight title.

‘I would be lying if I said I wasn’t looking at them,’ Whyte added. ‘I am definitely looking at fighting Fury.
