In a statement signed by the YCW secretary, Comfort Olagoke disclosed that the outreach is aimed at raising awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of illness and provide free medical treatment to those in need by offering free health checks, eye care services, and treatment for various ailments to both children and adults.

This marks the third edition of the event, with previous events benefiting over 700 individuals. YCW is committed to making this a bi-annual event, inspired by Jesus’ teachings to show compassion and care for those in need.

Commenting on the Outreach, President YCW Vincent O. Adekugbe stated that, “We are driven by God’s teachings to care for the less privileged and those in need this is why we are organizing another medical outreach this October. We are partnering with local hospitals to provide additional support for free testing and treatment. Our goal is to make a positive impact in our community and demonstrate kindness and compassion.”

“However, the work cannot be done by us alone we need others to join the train in helping people detect their ailments on time.

“We want to emphasize the importance of early check-ups and encourage people to prioritize their health. Our goal is to make a positive impact in our community and demonstrate the value of kindness and compassion,” Vincent stressed.

The event will also feature food, drinks, and follow-up care to ensure the well-being of beneficiaries. YCW encourages everyone to join the free medical outreach on October 6, 2024 and be part of this life-changing initiative.
