Nyako stated this in continuation of his ward to ward campaign tour in Shelling local government.

He said the schools and hospitals will be upgraded to have a face lift and maintain standard in health and education sectors.

He explains that, with good facilities in education pupils will be productive and will plan for the future, while the health sector will make the people not to go outside Adamawa for medication.

He added that upgrading schools and health sectors were one among his agenda for the state, others include security, agriculture and skills acquisition.

The ADC chairman in Shelling, Usman Abubakar said the local government was backwards in health and education because of lack of facilities, adding that teachers in the local government don’t concentrate on teaching because of poor facilities, unpaid salaries due and the environment are not conducive for learning.
