The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday governorship, State House of Assembly election in Oyo State has denied blaming party leaders for his loss at the polls.
Adedibu while responding to a report on the online media, said he was instead grateful to all leaders and members of the party who worked tirelessly for his electioneering campaign.
According to a statement by his spokesperson, Dr. Bayo Busari, the allusion that he engaged a personal assistant to the governor of Oyo State, Dayo Iyaniwura in a fisticuffs was far from the truth.
“How can I fight with the governor’s PA who was dedicated to my aspiration from beginning to the end and I knew everyone worked for me and the party during the campaigns?” Adelabu queried.

He also commended all the aspirants who stepped down for him during the party’s primary and for standing by the party to ensure that the party remained united during the elections.
There had report that Adelabu had attacked the Governor’s PA during an argument, which resulted into an outbreak of fisticuffs between the two men.
He was rumoured to have abused leaders of the party, blaming them for his loss in the election, claiming that the leaders of the party collected money from him yet failed to deliver their various political constituencies.
