THE yearly gospel music event, Unusual Praise, is set to take place on December 9 at the Atrium Events Centre, next to Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, Lekki Phase 1, lagos, from 5pm till dawn. The theme for this year’s show is ‘Be Thou Exalted O Lord, Above the Havens, Let thy glory be above all the earth, (Psalm 57v11).’

Hosted by Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, the event will showcase powerful gospel ministers like Nicole C. Mullen, Nathaniel Bassey, Sinachi, Sammie Okposo, Joe Praiz, Chioma Jesus, Chinyera Udoma, Steve Crown, Chukwuemeka, Phillip Obonyilo and other talented ministers. The organisers have promised that the event, which is in its seventh edition, would be bigger, better and more spiritually fulfilling.

At a briefing recently, organising committee chairman, Monsignor Paschal Nwaezeapu, enjoined the public to join the Unusual Praise team and the anointed ministers for an unusual and spiritually uplifting time in God’s presence, as they proclaim God’s glory through praise and worship in order to touch lives and win souls for the kingdom.

“Praise the Lord with all that is within you, and watch him manifest greatly in your life, especially as we prepare for the upcoming year,” he said.

Entry to the event is free and the programme ends with a mass at the same venue.

The organisers, faith-base ministry, is also soliciting for funds and is entirely depending on the generous free will offerings and contributions of those who will attend the concert, as well as volunteers. The fund raised will be used to cover cost and provide opportunities to build a recording studio for upcoming gospel artists and women empowerment project.
