Before Existence, the poet expressed what happened in heaven above before the creation of man, all filled with glory in a serene and beautiful environment. The angelic meeting was to reveal the destiny of mankind that has dominated the face of the earth. According to Genesis 1:26 “Let’s create man in our own image”. The angels are gathered around the throne, the scroll was opened, to reveal the destiny of this beauty: before existence.
Parent’s Hands, the poet explained here that after God’s the next in line are parents, they are the first a baby will see, they will continue to be there to support, protect, discipline and guide their children so as not to go astray. They are gods over children here on act, representing the Supreme being. From my first breathe, they held me/ from my first walk, they guided me/ from my first tears, they wiped them away/With the help of God, their hands shape me into all I can be.
Without the help of parents right from day 1 a toddler’s life can be a miserable as a rag.Obey, the poet expressed command and instructions to follow in a soothing manner by using the word ‘Let’, Let your ears be opened to godly counsel/ Let our mouth speak of good deeds/ Let your eyes behold the instruction from God’s word/ Obey, for it is the right oath to choose. The poet has shown the reader the reason to obey with her choice of words.God Cannot Forget You, the poet in this case refreshed the minds of the readers that God is the creator, who created us in His own image and no matter what we’re facing in life, we should remember that He has not and will never forsake His children. God created you for His pleasure/ He has not forsaken you/ Look! You will find Him right beside you.
