Out of the seven states result so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), President Muhammadu Buhari is leading in six while Atiku Abubakar has only won one state, which is the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Although, the announcement which has been put on hold by the INEC chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu to resume at 8pm today, may witnessed presentation by more State after the resumption including Ondo in which the collation officer who is also the vice chancellor of Federal University Ado Ekiti, Kayode Shoremekun was asked to go back and reorganize himself.

LEADERSHIP reports that the results are taken based on the states that arrived Abuja first.

Even though only seven states have been captured out of the 36 states and FCT, the results are competitive.
Buhari won Gombe State with 402,961 votes while PDP polled 138,484 votes.

On the results of Kogi State where PDP representative, Osita Chidoka said there was an earlier agreement for the results of Dekina LGA not to be included as a result of violence, added that it found its way into the final results sheet which according to him, the party will present its complain to the INEC chairman.

APC won Kogi State with 285,894 votes while PDP polled 218,207

In Kwara state, APC polled 308,984 while PDP polled 138,184. In Nasarawa state, APC got 289,903 while PDP also polled 283,847.

In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), APC lost to PDP with152,224 while PDP won with 259,997 votes.

APC won Ekiti State with 219,231 votes while PDP polled 154,032. In Osun State, APC won with 347,634 votes while PDP got 337,377
